Addressing a Global Challenge

Each year, approximately 350 million tons of plastic waste are generated worldwide. While industrialized nations have established collection systems, much of the world lacks the infrastructure to manage plastic waste effectively. Even in regions with collection programs, significant portion of plastic waste remains unrecycled. This underscores the challenge - not just in the volume of plastic waste, but in its integration into recycling streams.

Our Journey

In November 2004, our founder set out on a mission to develop a technology capable of eliminating landfill waste while producing renewable diesel fuel for airlines and highway transportation. Over the past 20 years, we have built and tested multiple pilot plants, refining our process to achieve commercial viability.

Today, Waste To Fuels is backed by a highly experienced management team and board of directors, with over 100 years of combined experience in refining and chemical engineering. Having successfully completed our research and development phase, we are now advancing into the feasibility study for our first world-class commercial facility.

We are deploying a commercially viable, market-ready solution that converts non-recyclable plastics into a sought after feedstock for plastic manufacturing.

Moving Toward Commercialization

Having completed our research and development phase, we are now accelerating the completion of our feasibility study. We will soon announce our license partner, project location, and key feedstock and offtake agreements. Our goal is to begin construction in 2025, pending regulatory permitting, and launch operations by 2027. Based on a greenfield site, we estimate a 24-30 month timeline to full startup.
